You are welcome.

"Qui veut voyager loin ménage sa monture"

Arduino ?

Soon, I will make a picture with all separate parts and details so it will be easier to you to mount the tank.

As promised, here are the details of the construction.
Be careful, the glue must be exactly the one I indicated in the BOM.
Good luck.

Bonjour Oracid,

I still don't have all the pieces but for now I've been able to move forward.

Again, thank you so much for your time and dedication.

By the way! I will finally use Lego motors to move the caterpillar because really in relation to the price (from Chinese suppliers) it has an incomparable performance. In the end what I will adapt to Lego is the stepper motor, which governs  small lifting platform (with the parallelogram technique) to access the caterpillar. First it had to be a ramp, but if the ramp has to comply with the slope regulations, it no would fit on the train, so a small lifting platform.

Very colored !

Good idea for the Lego motors from China ! They are very cheap and powerfull.

Did you command the CADA remote control ?

Bonjour Oracid,

The color has actually been determined by the cost of each piece.

In the end I have decided to control the engines with the Arduino program, because I have been looking and it is really simple.

I already have the caterpillar parts, glue and windows joint. I made sure to buy the same product you indicated to me.

I’ve been watching how you cut it, would that be where I mark and cut? Are they 7 cm long?

goma.png

Any special instructions when pasting it to the lego piece?

By the way, I’ve seen that lego has a couple of pieces to help with roughness.

I know you worked with rubber bands and then with another type of windows joint. Have you been able to test and compare lego pieces with your solutions?

You have to fix the entire band to a chair for example. Then, in one go, you cut the 2 sides of the round part.
Take the flat part and cut pieces of about 58mm. Test the length that suits you, do not cut until you have tested.
Click on the picture to see how the band is glued.

The little round rubber can be interesting, but they can't compete with my caterpillar.
In my opinion, forget the other solutions.

So is the height I cut okay or do I have to cut even further along?

Okay, I’ll start at 58cm and look at which length fits best.

I think you wanted to attach an image that you didn’t upload in the end, could you share it?
It will really help me to finally know how to paste it properly.

As you can see, I follow your techniques, however I wanted to finish confirming that they really are the most competent and to be able to justify following his techniques.

There is little left to have the whole structure! Thanks again for your patience and support.

You must test with 58mm. If it is ok, then you cut the all thread.

Here a picture. It is the same as before, but bigger.

Don't hesitate to ask, you are welcome.

I have finally finished the assembly and tried the first programs!

See here:

It works autonomously, the cable is not a control, it is the power supply of the ESP32.

It's amazing the power it has with just two motors!

Now I’m thinking about how to finish putting the zipper pinion on for lifting platform to robot access.

see here (more or less) what I mean:

Sorry for the quality of the videos it has never been my forte.

Ah ! Ah ! I am afraid, I don't understand what you want to do.

Anyway, the tank looks good.

When you do an horizontal video, the camera must be too horizontal on your cellular.

Why you don't put here, the links of the videos ?

It's my fault! The video did not make it clear. The idea would be to replicate this platform so that the wheelchairs could access the tank and get on top, where, the van is the tank.

I had put auto rotation on the mobile and it looks like the camera hasn't like it.

I wanted to attach them, but since I couldn't I uploaded them to the Drive so I could share them as I haven't uploaded them anywhere else.

To all this, I will obviously reference your designs and I will thank you for your help in my work, for that reason I would to know your full name.

The idea would be to replicate this platform . . .

Not easy, don't forget a tank has a track. You could do that if this platform is upper the track.

Exactly! On the tank there will be another platform where it will be and be fixed the wheelchair.

I guess those trains are made by Alsthom or Bombardier. Please tell me. I used them in my all life when I was working.

With nose or without nose ! This is very important ! The problem is for the first step. Then every steps are alyke.
Without nose, the tank could be flat, which is easier. With nose, the tank must have an inclined front side, which is heavier, longer and more complex.

Please have a look at this video to understand what I mean.

Bonjour,
