How to make the RDK x3(likely also the RDK x5) use a mirror closer to you

Reason for making this updating/installing packages on the RDK x3 Takes a long time

(To Do) Still have to see if the mirror that the RDK x3 Image comes with have some different attachements or requirements

1. Navigate to https://launchpad.ne... archivemirrors and look for a country near your in your own country and look for the text "(ports)" and click it
2. Ensure that architecture for arm64 is present, after confimation then add the link for the four types of package types to the following file "/etc/apt/sources.list" open in your favorite text editor ensure the editor opens up the file with root access or can elevate to root before saving

3. Save the file and do a "sudo apt-get update" it should say "Hit: {mirror}" with it being the mirrors you just configured. there will still be some other locations based on some other files.
4. doing the "sudo apt-get upgrade" will now download most packages from the closer mirror, be aware that if you upgrade and use SSH or plan to you need to keep the original sshd file if following other guides that might use ssh connections.
5. Now you should be able to update and upgrade while being able to download much quicker.

I would like to use the D-Robotics RDK X5 to detect theft in my local area with following features:
1. Face/human body recognition.
2. Face sketching into form of data and storing them with time, and date in database.
3. Attach a one layer laser barrier to easily detect housebreak in night time, and add sirens and emergency warning to inform locals.

- for display, without hdmicable how to connect it to laptop ?
