yeah, range is usually very limited. a house or obstacle will block the signal.
search <https://youtube.com> for `fpv video range comparison` to see the range and quality

search for `fpv screen vs goggles` to find out if a screen is right for you. screens can be difficult to see if you stand in the sun.
