Greetings, coming from Engineering Insiders and is hoping to use the RDK X5 AI Developer Kit to build a mobile AI Rover Assistant for school and home! It would combine real-time computer vision, voice control, and autonomous navigation.

. On campus, it could follow students, carry supplies, and detect obstacles.

. At home, it could help monitor rooms, act as a voice-controlled assistant, or check on animals using AI-powered vision.

Because of its powerful AI capabilities and camera support, the RDK X5 is perfect for those projects I have been waiting to do. This would be a huge step in my robotics journey as an engineering student.

Thank you

Be aware that this command might return too much sensitive information, since it returns IP, City Region your ISP, (Some people can use this information to directory look up personal information) so make the command like what Mike changed the command. besides the country code is likely to be aligned with the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 see https://en.wikipedia..._3166-1_alpha-2

Looking into their documentation(https://ipapi.co/api...mplete-location) country adheres to 2 letter, ISO 3166-1 alpha-2

´´´ Bash
curl -s https://ipapi.co/json | jq '{country, country_name, region}'
´´´

Coming from engineering insiders I plan on making a basic security system. With this robotics kit I could do way more. Door sensors and motion cameras to detect movement that is then sent to the ai controller for object detection and facial recognition before determining what info to send me remotely. I could probably even expand and make a whole smart home system with it as the hub with recognition of voice commands and hand gestures. Lots of possibilities

There are no boundaries, only opportunities, and if boundary found we'll develop a bridge to enlarge the capabilities :face_with_party_horn_and_party_hat::P

Coming from Engineering Insiders! I'm using the RDKX5 for the final year project at my university degree - a drone that inspects power lines with thermal/visual sensors, detects faults, and tags GPS locations to assist utility crews.

Coming from engineering insiders!
14-year-old student
currently building Spark, a 40-inch robotic dog. It's inspired by TARS from Interstellar, with a focus on modularity, AI integration, and. Spark runs on a capstan drive system for smooth and efficient movement and will feature real-time AI, multiple control modes, and adaptive behavior. I'm making this as a part of my college portfolio so this may be a critical thing that gets me into college

Now I haven't started the project yet, I'm studying inverse kinematics starting with trigonometry and electronics and cad, code, and everything but this would be a huge help, plus living in a village it's bot easy to buy thus stuff

Im basically tryna build a robot tars, so this kit would be perfectly suited for me, hope I win!

That's incredibly impressive, especially for someone your age! Building a robotic dog like Spark with such advanced goals-modularity, AI, real-time control, and a capstan drive-is ambitious and inspiring. It's great to hear you're starting from the fundamentals like trigonometry and electronics. Keep learning step by step, and don't hesitate to reach out to the community for support. Even in a remote area, your passion and dedication will take you far. Keep going-you're already doing something remarkable!

That sounds like a powerful and practical application of engineering! Using the RDKX5 for power line inspection with thermal and visual sensors, along with GPS tagging, is a smart way to bring real-world value to your final year project. It's exciting to see how technology like this can directly assist utility crews and improve infrastructure safety. Wishing you all the best with your project-you're clearly solving meaningful problems with engineering!

I'm planning to build a small autonomous delivery drone that can only in outdoor environments. The drone will use AI for real-time obstacle detection and avoidance, and we use D-Robotics RDK X5 for best performance, stability and accuracy.modular control, sensor fusion, and flight planning.
Pros: Faster
Time Efficient
