Just curious, what gives this image that old-school

Haha, I actually used claude to help me build the ui. And I told it I wanted to process the image to imitate crt scanlines to fit a retrofuturistic aesthetic. But the issue with vibecoding is i'm not 100% sure how it did it. You can see the whole ui in the features video I just posted.

The un-crt'd pictures get saved to the x5 so I can review them later.

Got my frame welded and new wheels put on so I can start upgrading from the prototype version of BETL to the real body.

Once I actually drive and I'm satisfied that the roller geometry works I'll have them on my GitHub with all the code and other BETL related files.

They are hoverboard motors. But printed the mecanum tires. Petg for the green part, tpu on the rollers, and 5mm steel dowel pins for all the roller axles.

I'm starting to figure out the final body shape for BETL.

A lot of people said turtle when they saw the original cad model. So I leaned harder into the bug shape.

I sculpted a scale model and 3d scanned it, then I'll use that as a reference for the shape and proportions in my cad.
