The seller responded, they should've included the risers.

I seem to have a problem with the geekworm/ugeek V3 UPS since i installed an external ON/OFF button.

It turns off randomly (on battery only) despite still having a good voltage (example 3.8V).
Somedays I'm then unable to turn it on at all despite it being plugged in.
Or it makes terrible noise (speaker on 5V).

@Garfield2142 could be similar? Let me know if you figure more what it is in your case.

I accidentally broke off the tiny plastic on the ON <---> OFF switch, so I completely unsoldered it, and soldered new wires to an external toggle switch. If I touch any exposed metal on the UPS or the pi, it sometimes crashes. Sometimes it will just crash while charging, and the motors go crazy.

I completely removed the switch now, and soldered a tiny piece of wire to keep the UPS on permanently. Let's see if that fixes the stability issues

It seems stable now. Maybe the toggle switch wire was picking up noise that interfered with the UPS?

Wait - you turn it on and off using the auto-ups switch?

The extension i made is for the ON-OFF push button.

Normal behavior is to use the on-off button.
The auto-ups is whether it's supposed to turn on when plugged in and empty battery ( => always on).

I'm not going to resolder it to auto-ups off just to test it, but if I remember correctly, it turns on and works, but if it crashes for whatever reason, it just turns off and I have to hold that button again to turn it on
