There's no real need to buy fans for a Raspberry Pi - mine heated up outdoors to a maximum of 33°C :wilted_flower::wilted_flower::wilted_flower:

Ok. I am checking few things. I will come up with some suggestion to try. You might need a keyboard and an HDMI cable + screen

I don't know if it's cool or not, but it's definitely a waste of money. It's your choice.

@QuantumFlip The Chillet can you connect the hdmi on a screen and plug the usb keyboard ?
then you can login with pi / raspberry
then you can type this commande to check if h264 is available : sudo v4l2-ctl --list-formats-ext -d /dev/video0

Hm looks good.

Maybe try taking a photo:
`raspistill -o first_image.jpg`
Then `ls -l` should list an entry like
```-rw-r--r-- 1 pi pi 2982656 Dec 22 14:55 first_image.jpg```
I tried it on IcecreamTruck which also uses a raspberry pi 4B
Can you try to :
sudo nano /usr/local/vigiclient/sys.json
Can you try to add the following lines below the line "CMDDIFFUSION": [
:
[
"/usr/bin/v4l2-ctl",
" -d /dev/video0",
" --set-fmt-video=width=WIDTH,height=HEIGHT,pixelformat=H264",
" --set-parm=FPS",
" --set-ctrl=video_bitrate=BITRATE,h264_profile=0,repeat_sequence_header=1",
" && /usr/local/vigiclient/processdiffusion /dev/video0",
" | /bin/nc 127.0.0.1 VIDEOLOCALPORT",
" -w 2"
],
While the camera is detected, it's not a guarantee that Raspbian and Vigibot support this camera.
The camera is so cheap, it could certainly be broken or not supported. $ 3
@QuantumFlip The Chillet You wouldn't have an original camera or the one from the Vigibot partlist?
About seven time zones.
I don't see why it wouldn't work. It cost me $15 from an electronics store.
Ok hm.
So to recap, there are multiple questions, and i do not know the best way forward yet:
- camera is detected but doesn't work on Vigibot.
- framebuffer doesn't work. Why doesn't this work.. Why are we expecting the camera to work if not even the framebuffer works.. -> we're missing something even more basic here. But what :huh:
Q1) Do you use the vigimage.img or the manual install script?
Q2) did you let it undisturbed for ~ 15 min on first boot until it showed up by itself?
Q3) where does this antenna-looking thing connect to? Did you solder it yourself? (Shouldn't have any effect on the problem though). Did you make any other hardware changes?
Q4) what browser are you using?
Possible steps:
1) SSH access would be handy, there are multiple commands that can help us here and typing them in manually can be tedious for you. Here's a guide (ssh is already enabled) https://sslinsights....o-raspberry-pi/
2) take a picture manually with the command above.
3) create a new robot on Vigibot to make sure you're starting with the default config.
