Is it this one? If it's this one, I've had some problems with it. It only likes to charge xiaomi devices correctly. Everything else will either charge really slow, or constantly start and stop charging.

It's common. Mine show warnings too sometimes.

@Bruh! are you Dunne on Vigi?

Do you already have a raspberry pi?
There's a way to get a PTZ camera stream to Vigibot, it will however have quite some lag.

1) If you install the Raspbian Desktop image,
2) then install Vigibot.
3) You can then open a browser on the raspberry and
5) stream the desktop to Vigibot using the framebuffer source.

Can you show a picture of the pi and the buck converter together?

That looks correct. What is the input voltage and amperage rating you give the DCDC converter?
Does the raspberry pi's red power led light up or blink or stays off?
When you measured 5.2V, you did this without the pi running, correct?
If yes, then something cannot deliver enough power under load.

It can be the wiring like you said, but also a broken dcdc converter or an empty battery too.
Or the fuse. They xan have bad contacts sometimes. I melted some before.

And you're using a 2S li-ion, right?
Can you measure the batteries voltage? Just to be sure

I'm impressed with how much you learn and already know. It's cool
- the dcdc is inside the heat shrink tubing, where do you measure the voltage under load?
- both raspberry 5V pins are covered from the 3 pin plug, where do you measure the raspberry 5V voltage?
- you can also measure the 3.3V pin on the raspberry to check if there's too little too.
- try without the IR LEDs, if you haven't adjusted the brightness yet, they can use too much power already.

Hm the IR LED forward voltage is 1.8V so i don't understand how it can be less :o
That's normal
I've been there 100s of times
Sounds great :D

The magenta / purple color?
That's without the IR filter. Strong shocks can flick the filter off from the camera and put it into Night mode accidentally.
Repower the robot or put it in a dark place.
Looks like this when it's mechanically flicked.

Try repowering the Pi.
Hehe

Ça dépend pour quoi. Il y a des avantages et des inconvénients. Un robot sur roue c'est déjà très bien.

You can use another driver if you already have one.

@HyperS i can't find an exact figure, but it looks like the raspberry pi default output current is 8 mA per GPIO, with a combined output current of all GPIO together of no more than 50 mA.

A low power LED is often set to 20 mA. If it's just a "signal" then 5 mA can be enough, which would be possible to drive from the Pi without transistor.

But if you'd like to have actual light, then yeah, you'll need a driver.
How many LEDs and of what type?

Options are:
1) no soldering:
https://aliexpress.c...0298159107.html

https://aliexpress.c...0290163842.html
2) cheapest and very versatile: FET, For 3.3V good are N-CH FQP30N06L + P-CH NDP6020P + 10 kOhm resistors.
3) high power LED current driver:
https://aliexpress.c...0341086776.html
4) arduino relais
5) arduino driver boards
- the buzzer you sent looks good. (It must be an "active" buzzer for 5V or 3V)
- the LED you sent, what voltage and current do they need? Link?
The (2) second option would look like this. The "FAN" can be a motor, laser, lightbulb, amplifier, and some LEDs (only if they are already current limited. It depends on the product.)

I found them. They look cool but will not be very bright. It has just normal [U+2205] 5 mm "superbright LED"s inside, they are usually 50 mA.

Check this out instead. It has COB LEDs, often they are brighter, but doesn't say how much. Pick one with a ServoPWM controlled LED driver.

@HyperS sometimes a bit of interference in the video happens

I have it too sometimes.
Things you can do:
- make sure the camera flex cable is not close to any other cable or electronics.
- does it only happen when driving? Some motors do not have a good EMI shield, it's a metal plate around the motor.
- you can use copper tape and put it on both sides of the camera flex cable, i did this on IcecreamTruck.
I see where this is going
