C'est le plus petit char grimpeur que tu as construit ?

En réalité, je descend à 53cm, mais la démo n'est pas géniale.
Je pense qu'en faisant une conception plus fine on devrait arriver à un char de 50cm.

Mais ça, c'est pour battre un record, dans une réalisation pratique, 60cm me parait raisonnable.

Quelle est la largeur du char ? Je pense que cela doit influencer sa stabilité notamment si les obstacles sont irréguliers ( plus haut à droite que à gauche?)

La largeur est de 34cm.

Je ne sais pas s'il y a un ratio longueur/largeur pour les chars. Peut-être pourrais-tu t'inspirer des schémas des chars militaires.

Je pense que le problème est le couple nécessaire à la rotation. Le ratio longueur/largeur doit avoir une influence sur ce couple, mais à notre échelle, je ne suis pas certain que ce soit très important.

Malheureusement, je n'ai pas la compétence pour faire ce calcul.

Hello again and thank you for this. I would like to build this robot but cannot identify all the parts with the three images at the end of the video. I will be using terms used by Lego on their Shop > Pick and Build > Pick a Brick search engine.

Image 1:

In Image 1, there are 2 pieces (A) that look like "1/2 bush"es but with round instead of cross shaped holes. I have been unable to find these on the Lego website. Also, what kind of a band is connecting these 2 parts? There is also a "beam" ( hidden in the frame that I can't see clearly.

Image 2:

You have more pieces (A) in Image 2 which resemble the 2 in Image 1 (A). Are these the same or not? Between the wheels, there's a part ( which I can't make out. Also, 2 more pieces in the frame © look like "bush"es but I can't be sure.

Image 3:

Image 3 shows the back part of the frame. I cannot identify the round part (A) here.

Image 4:

Image 4 shows a armature with wheels which are hard to make out both the assembly connecting the wheels and the connection to the frame.

If you could show the parts I mentioned, the removed assembly from Image 4 without the wheels and also a top view of the frame without the tracks, I would appreciate it very much. Thank you.

Sorry, Image 2 wasn't exactly clear. For item 2B, I was asking about the piece BETWEEN the 2 wheels, I think it's the same as 2C but not sure. Also, are you saying that the belt between the 2 wheels in Image 1 are the Tire Technic Wedge Belt Wheels? Thanks again.

- Sorry the part A in image 2 are 42610 not 56902.

- No, the belt 2815 goes only with the wheel 4185.

- yes, in image 2, between  the 2 wheels 4185, there is 2 bushes 3713.

Two more things, if I may:

 

Images 5 & 6:

I don't see any connections between the beam (5A) and the upper beams of the frame or the beams at 6A. I can only assume that they are there and I don't see them.

 

Also, of the 2 wheels 42610 in Image 1 are not connected by the belt 2815, what are you using?

The 42610 wheels are very cheap. You need about 35, but you can buy 100.

- carefull, it is not 3873 but 57518 x 250

- 32278 x 50

- 32525 x 50

It is a rubber band. You can see it working in the video at 2'05".

The trolley has too a rubber from his wheels 42610 to a pin on the chassis. You can see it at the beginning of the video.
